All Sales Final

No Returns. No Exchanges. No Refunds.

We know that’s blunt. Here’s why.

Cleanpunk Shop is the fundraising arm of Steampunk Farms Rescue Barn, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal sanctuary. There is no corporation behind this shop. There are no salaries, no investors, no profit margin to absorb losses. A fixed amount from every product sold goes directly to the animals — to hay, grain, vet visits, and safe shelter.

Every dollar spent processing a return, restocking an exchange, or issuing a refund is a dollar taken from the animals we’re here to protect. We would rather lose a sale than open the door to reducing the resources that keep our sanctuary residents fed and cared for.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that all sales are final and no returns, exchanges, or refunds will be issued.

The One Exception: Damaged in Shipping

If your order arrives damaged due to shipping — crushed, broken, or clearly mishandled by the carrier — email us at cleanpunkshop@steampunkfarms.org with your order number and a photo of the damage within 7 days of delivery. We’ll make it right with a replacement at no additional cost to you. This only applies to shipping damage, not to normal variations in handmade products (color, texture, scent intensity, size, or shape may vary slightly from photos).

Before You Buy

We want you to love what you get. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Read product descriptions carefully. We list every ingredient, scent note, and product dimension. If something isn’t clear, ask us before you order.
  • Handmade means unique. Every bar is made by hand in small batches. Colors, swirl patterns, and shapes may vary slightly from batch to batch. That’s not a defect — that’s handmade.
  • Allergies and sensitivities. Full ingredient lists are on every product page. If you have specific skin concerns, review the ingredients before purchasing.
  • Questions? Ask first. Email us at cleanpunkshop@steampunkfarms.org before placing your order. We’d rather help you pick the right product than have you end up with something that isn’t a good fit.

Why We Do It This Way

Most stores build return costs into their prices. We can’t do that and stay true to our mission. Our soap bars sell for $9 because $5 of that goes directly to animal care and $4 covers the cost of making the soap. There’s no cushion for returns because there’s no profit margin — just animals who need to eat.

We know this policy isn’t for everyone, and we respect that. If an all-sales-final policy doesn’t work for you, we completely understand. But for those who shop with us, know that your money is doing exactly what we say it’s doing: feeding and caring for rescued animals.
