Meet the Animals
Every bar of Cleanpunk soap directly funds the rescue and lifelong sanctuary care of these animals. When you shop with us, you're not just buying soap — you're keeping them fed, sheltered, and loved.

Harry
Mammoth Donkey
He was a protector to the core. He would look after the smallest goats in his shared pasture. When we were still new to sanctuary life, there were many remnant fences around Steampunk Farms and one day a small pygmy goat got her horns stuck in the fencing. When we arrived home late that night, Harry began braying relentlessly. He continued to do so as he stood over the small goat until we approached to free her. He was also no nonsense because as soon as he realized we were coming to where the goat was, he moseyed back to his stall and went to bed for the night. Another time, before we had erected the taller perimeter fences, a coyote got into the big pasture and was antagonizing the goats. Harry chased down the coyote, grabbed it y the nape of its neck, and shook it energetically until the coyote's neck snapped and went limp. Harry then dropped the body near the fence-line, as though he wanted it to be a warning to other wandering predators, and simply walked away. He was a protector to the bones.

Kroo
Mixed Goat
Kroo is a fighter at heart—determined, spirited, and full of life. She doesn't see herself as "different"; she owns the sanctuary with her bold two-legged stance, stealing prime sunbathing spots, head-butting even the biggest goats with kung fu flair, and skip-stepping around like she rules the place. Her soft cries in those early days turned into a confident presence that inspires everyone around her. She's a testament to resilience and joy, reminding us that every animal deserves a chance to thrive on their own terms.

Rebel
Tortoise Cat
Rebel is our resident shadow queen who patrols twenty acres of sanctuary land with the precision of a seasoned detective, melting into shade under pistachio trees before emerging to claim her rightful throne—a wicker perch on Grandpa's front porch. This fierce tortoiseshell came to us from SEAACA five years ago as wild as the wind, and while she's decidedly unimpressed by human attention, she's got a soft spot for allogrooming with fellow ferals, pot belly pigs, and the occasional chair leg. Every evening, she returns to her lookout like clockwork, keeping watch over her kingdom with the quiet confidence of someone who knows exactly where home is.

Rugby (aka Bark Twain)
Staffordshire Bull Terrier Dog
Rugby (aka Bark Twain) is the sanctuary's resident philosopher and luxury enthusiast, known for his magnificent underbite "The Chin" and his unshakeable belief that every day should be a spa day. This zen master of nap time arrived with his rescue twin Temperance from Moreno Valley shelter, and together they've perfected the art of dignified lounging while dispensing wisdom and collecting comfort items. Whether he's hoarding toys as "self-care," mentoring kitten Basil, or delivering his famous "Wisdom From The Chin" while sprawled across human pillows, Rugby embodies the Monday vibe we all secretly crave—sleeping until next week sounds perfectly reasonable to him.

Smokey
Jerusalem Donkey
Smokey is our dapper donkey who takes life at his own leisurely pace and looks absolutely stellar in any hat you put on him. This handsome guy has zero patience for sharing attention and will make sure you know he deserves all the pets and scratches — especially when his best buddy Buckwheat is getting any love nearby. After arriving lonely and needing companionship, Smokey found his groove at the sanctuary and now spends his days perfecting his slow-motion tiptoeing technique and being the most tolerant, affection-soaking donkey you'll ever meet.

Sylvester (Sly)
Duroc Farm Hog
Sylvester "Sly" is an 800-pound ginger giant who's mastered the art of pumpkin demolition and perfected the subtle communication of tipping water bowls when his wallow needs a refresh. This gorgeous Duroc hog may be getting on in years (complete with creaky knees that earn him daily peanut butter-wrapped meds), but he's still got the soul of a mischievous troublemaker who insists he's Irish every March and never met an apple he couldn't charm his way into receiving. After bouncing through four homes with his three sisters, Sly finally landed at his forever sanctuary where his gentle giant personality and scratch-requesting expertise make him absolutely irresistible.

Tashi & Hiro
Pot Belly Pig
Tashi and Hiro are the definition of sibling goals — these pot belly pigs have been absolutely inseparable since they arrived as tiny piglets six years ago, and despite sharing their yard with 64 other pigs, they only have eyes for each other. Named after the Big Hero 6 characters, this devoted duo can always be found snuggling together, taking synchronized splashes in their favorite mud hole, or strolling side by side like they're plotting their next adventure. Born to beloved pet Applesauce, they lucked out when buyers never materialized and the whole family got to stay together at the sanctuary instead.
